The story
A second reading of the same cherry branch, painted after the original had left the studio wall. The forms are freer, the ground warmer, and the shadows carry more of the room itself — late afternoon light, dust, the sound of coffee cooling in a cup.
Technique
Oil over a tinted acrylic ground, loose knife work for the fruit, brushed shadows.
