Custom paintings, made for one wall
A commission is a slow conversation before it is a painting. Bring a place, a person, a season or a colour you cannot stop thinking about — the work is made in oil, watercolour or another technique chosen together with the artist after agreement.
Oil on canvas
The studio's home language: glazes, knife impasto, occasional gold leaf. Best for large, lasting pieces.
Watercolour on paper
Lighter and quieter — travel memories, botanical studies, portraits of a place rather than a thing.
Another technique
Acrylic, mixed media, relief or something not tried yet. Possible after agreement with the artist.
Conversation
You write to the studio with the subject, the room, the size and the feeling you are after.
Agreement
Technique, dimensions, timeline and price are agreed in writing, with a deposit to reserve studio time.
Painting
Work begins. You receive progress images at two or three points, no more — the painting needs quiet.
Delivery
Varnished, signed, documented with a certificate, and shipped worldwide, insured.
What it costs
Bespoke oil paintings start at €1,200 for 40 × 30 cm and scale with size and complexity; watercolours start at €450. Commissions are taken twice a year and the studio keeps a short waiting list, so write early and say when you need the work.
