The story
A landscape remembered incorrectly on purpose. The horizon sits lower than it did in life, because that is how the day felt at the time — seen over the rim of a paper cup, which is why the upper third stays slightly warmer than the rest.
Technique
Wet-into-wet oil, single session, no underdrawing.
Inspiration
A bus window in northern Portugal, dusk, no phone, the last of a cold filter going bitter.
