The story
The cold one. Cobalt collapses into a pale green corona, a shallow sea seen from directly above.
Technique
Thin blue glazes are drawn outward over a white ground, with the near-white ring lifted rather than added so the light comes from underneath.

Glacial water, evil-eye amulets, and the moment a stranger's gaze registers.
