The story
A nocturnal Colombian expedition unfolds between mountains, ruins and coffee cargo. A map-reading frog follows the lantern light while an octopus-like guardian rises above the ancient city.
Technique
Dense oil work on textured canvas, with layered cobalt blues, moss greens and sharp yellow highlights carrying the scene through the dark.
Inspiration
Colombian mountain routes, El Dorado legends, coffee journeys and the mystery of an illustrated expedition map.
